Organic Agriculture
WHAT IS ORGANIC AGRICULTURE CERTIFICATION
Organic products must be produced using agricultural production practices that foster resource cycling, promote ecological balance, maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, and conserve biodiversity.
Organic certification verifies that your farm or handling facility complies with the organic regulations. Once you are certified, you can sell, label, and represent your products as organic. These regulations describe the specific standards required for you to use the word “organic” or the national organic seal on food, feed, or fiber products.
